Düsseldorf / Las Vegas, 09th of January 2019 - As every year, the who's who of the electronic elite will meet at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas from 8th to 12th January 2019 to discuss innovations, developments and trends at the start of the technology season. ECOVACS ROBOTICS is setting new standards in household robotics this year with the first AI-controlled DEEBOT.
Already at the IFA 2018 in Berlin, ECOVACS caused great enthusiasm with its announcement of an AI-controlled DEEBOT version. While only the technology could be seen in Berlin so far, fans of household robots can now look forward to the finished model: The DEEBOT OZMO 960 is here! ECOVACS will also be presenting innovative Smart Home technologies and the award-winning WINBOT X. Everything can be seen at the booth in halls A-D, level 2 (booth 41121) in the Las Vegas Convention Center. There, interested visitors will find special demo scenarios that show how the robots work in a real environment and illustrate how home cleaning is changing with the help of intelligent cleaning concepts.
“ECOVACS is committed to enabling more people to enjoy their lives with improved smart cleaning solutions that will transform their homes through advanced robotic intelligence. It will be the first time that ECOVACS ROBOTICS will be showcasing our most comprehensive line-up of home-cleaning robots to the global market. With live demonstrations, we want to show consumers that the intelligent way of cleaning is just a few clicks or a voice command away. Our broad spectrum shows how ECOVACS keeps floors clean, windows spotless and the air in the house pure. With our innovative products we create the smartest possible home for our customers," says David Qian, Chief Executive Officer of ECOVACS ROBOTICS.
The future is called OZMO 960
It is fast, agile, powerful and above all incredibly clever: The DEEBOT OZMO 960 is ECOVACS' most intelligent product so far. Using the new AIVI (Artificial Intelligence and Visual Interpretation) technology, the suction robot not only recognizes its environment to create a cleaning plan, but also detects many obstacles such as cables or socks and can efficiently avoid them. This eliminates the need to clean up in preparation for the use of a suction robot. So far, AIVI has mastered around 500 objects and is constantly learning new things. Software updates are used throughout the year to add more and more foreign objects and hurdles to the portfolio, saving users time and energy. All data collected by AIVI is of course covered by European data protection guidelines; images are not stored or transferred to third parties. On a voluntary basis, however, users can share their data with ECOVACS in order to support the learning process or the development of the technology. Planning for the launch of the OZMO 960 is underway, but a concrete date has not yet been determined.
Outstanding Smart Home Technologies
In addition to the new AI of the DEEBOT OZMO 960, ECOVACS will also show the functionality of its most important technologies, the Smart Navi™ 3.0 Mapping & Navigation Technology and the ECOVACS OZMO™ Wiping Technology, at the CES. The advanced and precise Smart Navi™ Mapping technology enables an efficient cleaning path to be scanned, mapped and planned for thorough and systematic cleaning. The ECOVACS OZMO™ wiping technology also offers the robots from the OZMO line the ability to effectively treat dirt and dried liquids with the help of an electronically controlled water pump and sensors, thus wiping the floor gently, quickly and reliably.
The latest DEEBOT models can be used with either the ECOVACS App or the ECOVACS Home App. Users can therefore control their devices at any time and from anywhere, define cleaning schedules, select cleaning modes and much more. All current DEEBOTs are compatible with both Google Home and Amazon Echo, making floor cleaning easier, smarter and more efficient than ever.
Clear view with WINBOT X
When the floor is clean, only the windows remain. The first wireless window cleaning robot developed by ECOVACS is designed for people who want to enjoy a better view from their windows without having to clean them themselves. This is ensured by the Deep Clean Mode and the four-stage cleaning system. Safety against falls from a height is provided by the innovative Safety Tether System, which warns users and secures the WINBOT as soon as it loses its grip. Various application scenarios and demos will also be on show at CES.
