From September 6th to 10th, ECOVACS Group, a global leader in service robotics and intelligent home appliances, showcased its prowess at the 2024 IFA in Berlin. This marks the inaugural joint presence of the Group's dual brands, ECOVACS ROBOTICS and TINECO, at the prestigious event. ECOVACS ROBOTICS took center stage by introducing its latest advancements in floor-cleaning robotics, headlined by the debut of the groundbreaking DEEBOT X8 Family. This new addition boasts the innovative Water Renewal Mopping System, a testament to ECOVACS' relentless pursuit of integrating smart technology with cleaning efficiency, solidifying its position at the forefront of the industry. The DEEBOT T50 Family also made waves with its ultra-slim design, setting a new standard as one of the thinnest robotic vacuums available. This engineering marvel promises users an enhanced deep-cleaning experience, reaching areas previously untouched.

The brand and its flagship DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI received accolades at the IFA Global Product Technology Innovation Awards 2024, earning the "Home Cleaning Robot Brand Award" and the "Indoor Cleaning Solutions Gold Award," reinforcing ECOVACS' reputation as a trailblazer in robotic floor care.

 

Globally, ECOVACS enjoys a strong following, with over 1.6 million units of the DEEBOT X series sold around the world. The 2024 interim financial report highlights a significant year-on-year increase of 42% in ECOVACS' European market revenue, underscoring the brand's growing international presence.

At this year's IFA, ECOVACS made a groundbreaking debut with the DEEBOT X8 Family, an innovative floor-cleaning robotic floor washer that seamlessly integrates advanced smart technology with the revolutionary OZMO ROLLER Water Renewal Mopping System. This launch marks yet another significant leap in ECOVACS' floor-cleaning capabilities.

 

The DEEBOT X8 Family features ECOVACS ' proprietary OZMO ROLLER Water Renewal Mopping System, adapted from the core cleaning technology of the TINECO brand. Utilizing a roller-based cleaning structure, this technology achieves a greater pressure—up to approximately 4000 Pa. Operating at a high speed of 200 revolutions per minute in standard mode, and coupled with a powerful 13,000 Pa suction, the DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI effectively removes the most stubborn stains. Its Water Renewal Mopping System ensures that the mop is continuously self-cleaned, and preventing secondary contamination while maintaining superior cleaning performance.

 

To maximize cleaning coverage, ECOVACS has designed the DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI to be one of the slimmest robotic floor washers in the industry. With a height of only 98mm, it easily navigates and cleans under low furniture. The DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI is equipped with TruEdge 2.0 Adaptive Edge Cleaning technology, which combined with three-dimensional omnidirectional sensing capabilities, adjusts the proximity of the roller to edges in real time, significantly improving edge and corner coverage. With the advanced AIVI 3D 3.0 Omni-Approach Technology, the DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI can precisely navigate around all obstacles in its path. This ensures thorough cleaning along edges and corners while maximizing coverage and minimizing the chance of collision. ECOVACS' AINA 2.0 Intelligent Navigation Model, which incorporates deep learning technology, allows the robot to intelligently detect and react to stains in real time, offering features such as Quick Clean mode and real-time dynamic obstacle avoidance. In addition, the DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI is equipped with ZeroTangle 2.0 Anti-tangle Technology, which uses a new cyclone-directed main brush to reduce hair tangles and further improve cleaning efficiency.

The DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI has undergone a major upgrade in terms of station design. The automatic water refill and drain model is designed with a compact 39cm station height, while the built-in water tank model is equally space-conscious at 65cm. Both models of the station are designed to optimize efficiency without compromising power. It is also equipped with an intelligent Temperature-Controlled Mop Washing system that operates within the optimal range of 40-70°C, complemented by an Auto Cleaning Solution Adding feature. This innovative combination ensures a superior cleaning performance of the mop. Additionally, 63°C hot air drying function is applied to guarantee that the mop is left dry and free of odors post-cleaning. 

On the voice interaction front, the DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI is equipped with the newly enhanced YIKO-GPT. Based on the industry’s first self-developed Large Language Model, it understands natural language commands from users and can operate the robotics’ atomic capabilities accordingly, enabling precise cleaning tasks through real-time dialog and further breaking down the barriers between human-robot interactions. This represents another breakthrough in the application of AI technology to service robotics, providing users with a more intelligent and convenient floor cleaning experience.

DEEBOT T50 Family: The Ultimate Cleaning Flagship with Ultra-Slim Design
The DEEBOT T50 Family, with an ultra-slim body design of just 81mm, is the thinnest model in the ECOVACS DEEBOT range, offering users an unprecedented level of cleaning.

 

Thanks to its slimmer profile, the DEEBOT T50 PRO OMNI can easily navigate and clean under low clearance areas such as sofas and beds. ECOVACS achieved this breakthrough in height reduction through innovative structural design, embedding the navigation module in the body, using a staggered arrangement for navigation and AIVI 3D 3.0, and repositioning the drive wheel module to maximize vertical space. Equipped with powerful 15,000 Pa suction and TruEdge 2.0 Adaptive Edge Cleaning, the DEEBOT T50 PRO OMNI ensures 100% coverage of edges and corners . This cutting-edge technology has also earned the DEEBOT T50 PRO OMNI TÜV Rheinland certification for “Effective Cleaning of Edges and Corners”.

 

The DEEBOT T50 PRO OMNI is also equipped with ZeroTangle 2.0 Anti-tangle Technology, which effectively eliminates hair tangles, improving the robotics’ smoothness of operation and ease of maintenance. This superior anti-tangle performance has been recognized with the TÜV Rheinland “Anti-Hair Wrap” certification. In addition, the fully embedded Mini OMNI Station and YIKO-GPT have been upgraded to further save household space, free users' hands, and provide a more intelligent and efficient floor cleaning solution.
