Why does the robot's Indicator Light flash RED and beep when WINBOT X is switched on？

A flashing RED Indicator Light means the battery charge is low. Charge WINBOT. When WINBOT is charging, the WINBOT Status Indicator Light flashes BLUE. When WINBOT is fully charged, the WINBOT Status Indicator Light glows a continuous BLUE and then goes out.
