Does WINBOT use tap water or purified water? What will happen if purified water is used?

1. It's prohibited to use filtered, purified or pure water for this product. This is because the water level in the WINBOT water tank is gauged via capacitance detection, which will fail if filtered, purified or pure water is used.
2. It's recommended to use the special Ecovacs cleaning solution for WINBOT. If the cleaning solution has been used up, you can use tap water as a temporary makeshift. However, the special cleaning solution have a better cleaning effect than tap water. We do not recommend using tap water in the long term.
Do not use tap water if local water quality is poor.
