Within the first 5 seconds of powering ON WINBOT, press and hold the START/PAUSE Button on WINBOT and the Pairing Button on the Safety Pod at the same time. Pairing is complete when the Safety Pod Status Indicator Light blinks RED and GREEN and it emits a beep.

1. Use the Finishing Cloth to clean the bottom of the Safety Pod to make sure there is no dust on it.
2. Use a dry cloth to clean an area on the glass where the Safety Pod can be attached.
3. Make sure the Safety Pod is attached at least 5.2' (1.6 m) above ground.
4. Make sure the Safety Pod is attached inside the window, regardless of whether WINBOT X is cleaning inside or outside of the window.
5. Press the Safety Pod firmly on the glass until the Safety Pod Status Indicator Light glows a continuous GREEN. 
6. The Safety Pod will enter standby mode after being left unused for a long time. Turn on again with the switch to use it.

The temperature should be above 0℃ (32ºF). When using WINBOT X outdoors, the temperature should be between 0℃ (32ºF) and 40℃ (104ºF) with humidity below 65%. WINBOT X should not be used while it is raining or snowing, or used at heights higher than 2000m (6,562 ft.) so as to ensure a secure vacuum seal with the glass.

WINBOTX is designed for routine maintenance rather than first-time or heavy-duty cleaning. If your glass has a thick layer of dirt on it you should clean an area of the glass larger than WINBOT, let the glass dry and place WINBOT there, or clean the entire window first and use WINBOT for maintenance cleaning. WINBOT X is capable of cleaning most water based dirt from glass, but cannot maintain a secure suction seal on windows with grease build-up.

1. Before using, please pair the Safety Pod with WINBOT. Within the first 5 seconds of powering ON WINBOT, press and hold the START/PAUSE Button on WINBOT and the Pairing Button on the Safety Pod at the same time. Pairing is complete when the Safety Pod Status Indicator Light blinks RED and GREEN and it emits a beep.

2. Relocate the Safety Pod to make sure the Safety Pod has enough suction power. The area the Safety Pod is attached to should be clean. Safety Pod Status Indicator Light glows a continuous GREEN within 5 seconds if you attach the Safety Pod firmly.

3. Re-insert the Safety Pod Jack into the port.

4. If you connect the Safety Pod correctly, WINBOT will beep and the Safety Pod Status Indicator Light glows GREEN. After three seconds, the Fan Motor will start. Now you can attach WINBOT. After attaching WINBOT, its Status Indicator Light will turn BLUE and WINBOT will start.

1. Check if you attached the Safety Pod correctly. The Safety Pod Status Indicator Light should grow a continuous GREEN if it is attached correctly.

2. The cleaning pad may be attached incorrectly and is covering the Fan or the Edge Detection Sensors. Remove the Cleaning Pad and re-attach it, making sure it is placed exactly within the proper area and does not cover the Fan or the Edge Detection Sensors.

3. Fan malfunction. Please clean the fan.

4. Edge Detection Sensors malfunction. Please clean them.

5. Glass is too dirty for WINBOT to be attached. Clean a small area of the glass manually and place WINBOT there, or clean the whole window by hand first and use WINBOT for regular cleaning after that.

1. WINBOT has moved over a problem area and is losing suction. The Safety Pod is losing its suction. Press the RESET Button on the Remote Control and use the Direction Control Buttons to move WINBOT away (at least 4"/10 cm) from the problem area. Then you can either press the START/PAUSE Button to resume cleaning in AUTO Cleaning Mode or use the Direction Control Buttons to manually clean the area. 

2. The Edge Detection Sensors are dirty. Clean the Edge Detection Sensors with a dry cloth.

1. The Safety Pod is not paired with WINBOT. Within the first 5 seconds of powering ON WINBOT, press and hold the START/PAUSE Button on WINBOT and the Pairing Button on the Safety Pod at the same time. Pairing is complete when the Safety Pod Status Indicator Light blinks RED and GREEN and it emits a beep.

2. The Safety Pod is losing its suction. 

A. Press and hold the Safety Pod firmly for 5 seconds. If the Safety Pod Status Indicator Light glows a continuous GREEN it is secure. 

B. If solution A doesn't work, take the Safety Pod off the window and use the Finishing Cloth to wipe it clean, then repeat Solution A.

3. The Safety Pod is in Standby Mode. Power OFF the Safety Pod then power it ON again.

4. The Safety Pod Jack is not connected correctly.

5. The Safety Pod Port on WINBOT is not properly connected. Insert the Safety Pod Jack into the port again.

A flashing RED Indicator Light means the battery charge is low. Charge WINBOT. When WINBOT is charging, the WINBOT Status Indicator Light flashes BLUE. When WINBOT is fully charged, the WINBOT Status Indicator Light glows a continuous BLUE and then goes out.

The WINBOT X is already paired with its Remote Control. If the Remote Control becomes un-paired or is replaced, it can be re-paired. To pair, power ON the WINBOT X. Pairing is complete when the START/PAUSE Button blinks RED and BLUE, and beeps.

This is due to insufficient friction between the glass and WINBOT X, but this does not affect cleaning performance. WINBOT X will adjust its mopping plate to the correct position when it touches the window frame.

1. WINBOT X may slip if the cleaning pad is too wet. After spraying WINBOT cleaning solution, wipe the bottom of WINBOT X with a dry cloth.

2. WINBOT X may slip if you spray cleaning solution on the driving wheel. Please use a dry cloth to clean the driving wheel.

3. The tension between the Safety Pod and WINBOT is strong enough to prevent WINBOT from moving. Because the Safety Tether may be scraped by the window frame you can pull out the Safety Tether manually to reduce the tension.

On very dirty windows the accumulated dirt may increase the friction between WINBOT X and the glass, which can cause WINBOT X to move irregularly. 2 or more cleaning cycles can be used for dirty windows. Remember, WINBOT X is designed for routine maintenance rather than fist-time or heavy-duty cleaning. Be sure to wipe WINBOT X’s cupule, driving treads and squeegee before each use.

Turn WINBOT X over and attach the white side of the Cleaning Pad to the velcro area on the bottom of WINBOT X. The gray microfiber side of the Cleaning Pad should be facing out. Make sure the Cleaning Pad fits exactly and smoothly within the Velcro area and does not cover the fan or edge detection sensors.

If the WINBOT X is placed on framed glass of other shapes (round, diamond, triangle), it may not be able to clean the entire surface area or in corners. Move the Power Switch to the “-” position. Inspect the Driving Treads by using the Upward and Downward Direction Control Buttons on the Remote Control. Stop the Driving Treads if you see dirt on them. Move the Power Switch to the “O” position. Clean any dirt off of the Driving Treads with a dry mop.
