WINBOT W2 encounters an obstruction and is unable to move forward.

Updated on 2024/02/19
Mainly affected by the height of obstacles or frames, the WINBOT W2 currently relies on the bumper and spherical sensors for obstacle and frame detection, and may get stuck when it encounters obstacles or frames of lower height (<4mm). Try the following solution:

1. Use the ECOVACS HOME App to control the WINBOT W2 and move it to a reachable position.
2. Hold the WINBOT W2 handle tightly and press and hold the start/pause button for 2 seconds to turn off the fan and remove the WINBOT W2.
3. Check whether the front and rear bumper rebound normally, and clean up any dirt or foreign matter in time to maintain its sensitivity.
4. Turn over the WINBOT W2 and use a clean cloth to clean the dirt or foreign matter on the surface of the driving threads.
5. If there are many low obstacles on the surface, it may block the movement of the WINBOT W2, so please clean them up in time.
6. Try to press and hold the start/pause button for 2 seconds to start the fan again. After successfully attaching to the surface, the WINBOT W2 will start to perform the task.
